Dr. Shelly Wimpfheimer, LMSW The Board of Directors of the Partnership for After School Education (PASE) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Rochelle (Shelly)Wimpfheimer as the new Executive Director of PASE. “We believe that Shelly’s extraordinary experience in youth services makes her the ideal candidate to further PASE’s mission of promoting and supporting quality afterschool programs for youth,” said PASE President Alison Overseth. “We are pleased to have Shelly on board to steer PASE into a new decade of service to and leadership in the afterschool field.” Prior to joining PASE, Dr. Wimpfheimer was the Vice President of Youth and Family Services for the YMCA of Greater New York. In that role, she was responsible for the development of all youth and family programs in the YMCA’s 19 branches, which serve over 165,000 youth annually.
Previously, Shelly was Director of the Division of Family Guidance for the Department of Human Services in Hackensack, NJ, and has been a leader in providing community services to youth and families for many years. Also a published author, she holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University, an MSS in Social Planning and Administration from Bryn Mawr College, a DSW in Program Design and Administration from CUNY’s Hunter School of Social Work. |
