The Annual PASEsetter Awards are a unique event in the world of education, remaining the only award ceremony to recognize the tireless efforts of afterschool educators across New York City and honor them as they deserve to be.
Every year, PASE recognizes the best and brightest of New York City's youth development professionals. Chosen from hundreds of nominations, the five PASEsetter Award Winners exemplify the dedication, innovation, and accomplishment that is the hallmark of the New York City afterschool field. PASEsetters are afterschool educators who have made a significant impact on youth, families, and communities. They’ve shown commitment, creativity and leadership when it comes to helping young people succeed. PASEsetters start new initiatives and see them through, while being a role model for their kids and for other afterschool educators.
In addition to being honored at the annual gala event, each PASEsetter winner received a $5,000 award for her or his agency, a crystal award engraved with their name, and recognition in the PASE newsletter and on the web site.
